Mark has been part of the Veit team since 2000. Today, he’s our vice president of industrial cleaning and CIPP (cured-in-place pipe). On the industrial cleaning side, he oversees estimating, project management, personnel, and equipment.
Mark enjoys the entire process of winning work, earning repeat business, and satisfying customers. He takes a great deal of pride in what his field crews can accomplish and sees them as the key to Veit’s success: “Our field crews do a great job, and that’s really what sells our repeat work.”
He attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where he earned his degree in environmental studies. Before joining the Veit family in 2000, Mark managed a spill response group with his previous employer, which he says was similar to an operations manager role.
Mark says that he has always looked up to his parents. His father was a butcher, and his parents both did whatever they had to do to support their kids. Today, Mark is married with two grown kids of his own. In his free time, his passion is fishing and hunting — mostly for deer, elk, grouse, and ducks.
