Construction of this 337,000SF facility included the excavation for the foundations, excavation and grading of a 19-acre retention pond, grading for parking lots and drives, and finally, all underground utilities. Challenges We Solved

01.
Soil Remediation
A significant challenge on this site were the unsuitable soils that needed to be managed. Our soil remediation crew performed cement stabilization on all structural areas that required it. The general contractor on this project required that any soils stabilized with cement had to be set to finish grade and compacted within 90 minutes of application. This meant our crews had to ensure proper planning and execution to avoid any rework.
02.
Sanitary Sewer Installation
Because of the 17,000 feet of pipe needed, we took additional time in the preconstruction phase to plan each step of the installation in order to keep the project moving seamlessly and without interruption.
