What was supposed to be a 4-week operator job has turned into 16+ years and a career I’m proud of. Today, I’m General Superintendent of Utilities. Veit’s management support and family-like team culture make it a place where people want to stay and grow.
Joining Veit was one of the best career decisions I’ve ever made. The leadership is top-notch, the people truly care, and you’re never just a number. Hard work is recognized, opportunities are endless, and everyone feels like family here.
I’ve had many proud moments at Veit — some tied to jobsite wins, and others more personal. But what truly inspires me these days is watching our newer employees and future leaders earn their stripes and being able to support them along the way. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Over two days, 45 operators and field supervisors got hands-on with cutting-edge tools from @trimblecec and @caterpillarinc, exploring the technology that’s transforming how we work and where our industry is headed.

Project Profile: Wind Turbine Decommissioning (Willmar, MN)
Last week, Veit successfully imploded two 80‑meter Dewind wind turbines in Willmar, MN. Installed in 2008, the turbines had reached the end of their life cycle and are now being fully decommissioned, with site restoration underway on land owned by the Willmar School District.
