In just two weeks on Lake Michigan near Waukegan, IL, our marine team removed zebra mussels and completed a full inspection of an 8,000+ ft intake pipeline within a system that’s over a century old.
Nine crew members. Challenging conditions. Critical infrastructure. This is the difference: a team that can mobilize quickly and perform in environments where others can’t.

National Safety Month – Week 2: Staying Safe on the Roads
At Veit, safety on the road means being intentional every time you get behind the wheel. That means:
Practice defensive driving
Recognize that multitasking is a myth. Your only task is to drive.
Never accept unsafe habits as “the norm”
Whether you’re on the jobsite, commuting, or driving with your friends and family on the weekend, the choices you make behind the wheel, matter. Stay alert, be present, and be proactive to keep you and everyone around you safe.
