Senior Director of Demolition, Operations and Business Development

Ryan Olson joined the Veit team in 2000 and brings over 27 years of valuable industry experience with a career-long focus on commercial demolition. Today, he is our Senior Director of Demolition, Operations and Business Development. His primary role oversees all demolition field leadership and safety in addition to continuing to explore opportunities to expand our demolition offerings and geographic markets.

He works closely with Mike Flahave, Senior Director of Demolition, Project Management and Strategy, in a collaborative partnership to lead the Demolition division at Veit.

Ryan is active in the demolition community and supports programs aimed at moving the division forward within the overall industry. Currently, he sits on the advisory board at Central Lakes College in Staples, MN with a focus on equipment operators.

Growing the business and seeking out future opportunities is an exciting prospect for Ryan. “I enjoy the constant challenge and speed of our operations, in addition to interacting with all different personality types across the enterprise,” he says.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Sherri and their six children. As a family, they like to participate in outdoor activities including boating, motorcycling, hunting, and ice fishing. They have two dogs, Josie and Lola.
