Completed in November of 2020, Veit performed the complete site work package for a new Kroger Fulfilment Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Bayshore Mall
Veit’s scope of work for the Bayshore Mall redevelopment included all excavation and backfill associated with the foundation construction, grading and paving of all new parking lots, travel ways, and service roads.

University of Minnesota Pioneer Hall Renovation
The University of Minnesota planned an expansion and renovation of the University’s 90-year-old Pioneer Hall on the East Bank of the Minneapolis Campus. Veit was hired by McGough Construction to gut out the interior of the building.

Grassy Point
Contracted in June of 2019 through Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources, Veit mechanically dredged a wetland preserve known as Grassy Point.

Hopkins Cold Storage
In 2011, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District acquired the former Hopkins Cold Storage Facility and the 17 acres of land it sat on.

Built in 1988, the Bradley Center was the long time home of the Milwaukee Bucks. Veit was contracted to demolish the nostalgic Bradley Center.

Due to severe storms, the Lakewalk Trail at Canal Park recently suffered a massive blow and has been in need of restoration.

Baudette Bridge
Veit was commissioned to complete the foundation work for Baudette Bridge which crosses the international border of Minnesota and Ontario, Canada. Work consisted of 9 drilled piers that are 8’ in diameter and up to 115’ deep. The shafts were located in the Rainy River with half in the United States and half in Canada. The shafts were being drilled off a barge spread that was repositioned on each shaft as crews progressed.

West Lake Quarter
Veit contracted with Adolfson & Peterson to perform earthwork, utilities, demolition, driven piling, and earth retention for a new apartment building and parking ramp in Minneapolis, MN.

Long X Bridge
In 2019 Veit was contracted to remove969’ long high truss bridge, a piece of history out in the western frontier. The 1959 historic Long X Bridge needed to be replaced with a wider, four-laned bridge.

Ryan Companies, Inc. contracted with Veit to provide commercial site preparation for a 750,000 SF distribution center in Lakeville, Minnesota.

This project entailed the explosive demolition of the through-truss bridge, spans 2, 3, 4 & 5, and 6 river pier bases over the Mississippi River.

The project entailed the explosive demolition of the 5 span through-truss bridge over the white river in Taney county and two concrete bridge piers.

Toledo Girders
This project entailed the blasting of 8’ steel I beam girders in phase 1. These beam girders were approximately 920’ in length on the North and Southbound lanes of I-75 spanning half of the Maumee river. Phase II will complete the second half of the project.

Veit performed the layout, drilling & blasting of seven pier bases on the I30 Bridge in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Minnesota Valley Power Plant
The Minnesota Valley plant was originally built in 1930 and expanded in 1953. The coal-fired plant generated 75 megawatts of energy and was retired in 2009. Veit contracted to perform explosive demolition and remediation.

Dairyland Power Genoa Plant
Veit's Demolition team contracted with Dairyland Power Cooperative to demolition the 500-foot stack, main building and all ancillary structures of the retired Genoa Station #3 coal-fired 345MW power plant in Wisconsin.
Long Lake Sediment Basin Dredging
Veit & Company, Inc. was hired by the Rice Creek Watershed District to dredge sediment to improve waterflow and water conditions within Long Lake and Rice Creek.
